Day Trip to El Valle de Antón

After picking you up from your hotel in Ciudad de Panamá or Playa Bonita, we'll set out on a two-hour journey to El Valle de Antón.

Located in the crater of a huge extinct volcano, El Valle de Antón is 1969 feet (600 m) above sea level. The cool temperatures due to this altitude give way to a unique ecosystem unlike any other in Panama.

Upon arriving, we will discover the crater of the volcano itself and enjoy the stunning views. Following that, we will visit the El Níspero Zoo, where you will learn about the biodiversity of El Valle de Antón. A stroll through the botanical garden will also provide insight into the local species of plant life.

Additionally, we will visit the vibrant market in El Valle de Antón, rounding off our experience with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. This lunch will include a starter, main dish, a drink, and dessert, providing the perfect opportunity to try some traditional Panamanian specialties!

After lunch, we will begin our return journey around 1 pm, arriving back at your hotel by approximately 3 pm.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This day trip includes a round-trip transportation service from your hotel, entry to the El Níspero Zoo, and lunch at a local restaurant. However, local tips or personal expenses are not included in the price of the trip.

The meeting point will be at your hotel in either Ciudad de Panamá or Playa Bonita, ensuring your journey begins smoothly and comfortably. Enjoy a day filled with exploration and local flavor!
