Day Trip to El Valle de Antón
After picking you up from your hotel in Ciudad de Panamá or Playa Bonita, we'll set out on a two-hour journey to El Valle de Antón.
Located in the crater of a large extinct volcano, El Valle de Antón sits at 1969 feet (600 m) above sea level. This altitude contributes to a unique ecosystem in Panama.
We'll discover the volcano's crater and enjoy the views before visiting the El Níspero Zoo to learn about the biodiversity of El Valle de Antón. We will also explore local plant life in the botanical garden.
A visit to the market in El Valle de Antón will follow, and we will conclude our experience with a lunch in a local restaurant, featuring a starter, main dish, drink, and dessert that highlights Panamanian specialties.
Then, at around 1 pm, we'll begin the return journey to your hotel, arriving at approximately 3 pm.
