Day Trip to El Valle de Antón
On the day trip to El Valle de Antón, we will explore a unique part of Panama, including a visit to El Macho Waterfall. After picking you up from your hotel in Ciudad de Panamá or Playa Bonita, we will embark on a two-hour journey to El Valle de Antón.
El Valle de Antón is situated in the crater of an extinct volcano at 1969 feet (600 m) above sea level, offering a distinct ecosystem. We will explore the volcano's crater and enjoy the views before visiting El Níspero Zoo to learn about the region's biodiversity. Additionally, we will discover local plant life in the botanical garden.
A visit to the market in El Valle de Antón will precede a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a starter, main dish, drink, and dessert highlighting Panamanian specialties. After lunch, around 1 pm, we will begin the return journey to your hotel, arriving at approximately 3 pm.
