Emberá Indigenous Village Day Trip

After hotel pickup in Panama City, we will travel for an hour toward the Chagres River. Upon arrival at the port of Corotú, we will board a traditional canoe for a river ride.

Cruising along the river, we will enjoy the natural environment until we reach a waterfall named Quebrada Bonita, located in the jungle.

The tour will then continue with a visit to an Emberá Indigenous community, where we will learn about the culture of these people, who migrated from Colombia in the 18th century.

The Emberá will welcome us with a traditional dance, after which community members will share insights about their culture, education, and artisanry. Following this, we will enjoy a lunch that includes tilapia, patacones, and fruit.

After lunch, we will watch another dance performance - participation is welcomed. Before returning to your hotel, you will have the opportunity to purchase local artisan goods as souvenirs.
