Emberá Indigenous Village Day Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in Panama City, we'll travel for an hour toward the Chagres River. Upon arrival at the port of Corotú, we'll board a traditional canoe for a ride along the river.
Cruising along the river, we'll enjoy a natural environment of great beauty until we reach a beautiful waterfall called the Quebrada Bonita, in the middle of the jungle.
The tour will then continue with a visit to a community of Emberá Indigenous Peoples, where we'll learn about their culture. The Emberá will welcome us with a traditional dance, followed by insights into their culture, education, and artisanry. After, we'll enjoy a lunch of tilapia, patacones, and fruit.
After lunch, we'll watch another dance performance, with options for participation. Before returning to your hotel, you'll also have the opportunity to purchase some local artisan goods as souvenirs.
