Explore the Panama Canal and Monkey Island—a tour featuring an engineering marvel and playful primates. Experience a blend of nature, history, and extraordinary constructions in a single day.

Description

We will pick you up from your Panama City hotel at the designated time and travel by minibus to the Miraflores Visitor Center. Here, you will learn about the history of the Panama Canal.

We will explore the construction phases of the Panama Canal, with panoramic terraces at the Miraflores Visitor Center providing views of ships passing through the canal locks.

Afterward, we will continue by minibus alongside the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel locks to the town of Gamboa, located by the Chagres River. From here, we will board a boat for a tranquil voyage across Gatun Lake, which was once the largest artificial lake in the world.

During the lake journey, you will see large vessels navigating its waters amid the Panamanian jungle. Our destination is Monkey Island, where we will search for various monkey species and potentially spot sloths, toucans, turtles, and alligators.

After exploring Monkey Island, we will return to the mainland and reboard the minibus. After a six-hour excursion, we will transport you back to your hotel.
