Panama City Excursion + Panama Canal

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Panama City. Our journey will commence with a detailed exploration of both the city's ancient and modern districts.

Our first destination will be the renowned Panama Canal. This engineering marvel, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, revolutionized maritime commerce. To grasp its operation fully, we will visit the Miraflores locks, one of the canal's three locks, along with the Panama Canal Administration Building.

The itinerary then takes us to the Bridge of the Americas and the renowned Calzada de Amador, a picturesque land bridge that serves as the city's cruise terminal.

Following this, we’ll wander through the narrow lanes, lush parks, and vibrant balconies of the historic area known as Casco Antiguo or Casco Viejo. Here, we will also discover the Church of San José, where the infamous pirate Henry Morgan is said to have attempted to steal its legendary golden altar.

As we meander through this charming quarter, we will also visit the stunning Plaza de Francia and Las Bóvedas, an assortment of historic vaults that once served as storage facilities and jails. Today, this captivating area features numerous shops and kiosks.

Finally, after uncovering the highlights of Panama City, we will return you to your hotel, concluding the excursion approximately eight hours after pickup.
