Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main entrance to Casa Moreiras, one of the oldest wineries in Galicia, dating back to 1692. This wine tourism centre located in the southern area of Lugo will provide insights into the wines of the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin.

When making your booking, you can choose between the following options:

Winery Visit with 2 Wine Tastings (45 minutes)

This option includes a guided tour of the facilities at Casa Moreiras Winery, where we'll explore its history back to the 17th century, learn about native grape varieties, and understand the unique techniques of vineyard care and wine-making processes. The visit concludes at the old dovecote with a tasting of 2 Ribeira Sacra Wines.

Visit to the Winery + Vineyard + 3 Wine Tastings (1 hour)

This option starts with a visit to the vineyards, where we will learn to distinguish grape varieties, the characteristics of Ribeira Sacra lands, and the climatic influences on wine production. Following this, we will take a guided tour of Casa Moreiras Winery. The tour ends in the wine-tasting room of the old dovecote, where we will enjoy a tasting of 3 Ribeira Sacra wines.
