With this trip to the Aldama cenotes, you'll visit an exceptional location in the interior of Tamaulipas. A tour through some of Mexico's most stunning natural features!

Description

We'll collect you from your hotel in Tampico and travel towards Aldama, where we'll begin our tour of these cenotes.

We'll walk along the trails full of vegetation to check out the most important natural pools in the area: El Caracol, La Azufrada La Pilita, Poza Verde, La Cristalina, and El Zacatón. Did you know that the latter is the deepest cenote in the world? Reaching 339 metres (1,112 feet) in depth.

If you fancy it, you'll also be able to take a dip here or paddle around in a kayak. Next, we'll enter Los Cuarteles grotto, a hollow full of skylight-like openings, stalactites up to 15 metres (49 feet) in length, and a legend that this location was a refuge for guerilla fighters during the Mexican Revolution.

Next, we'll make our way to El Salto Waterfall, a waterfall with a natural pool in which you'll be able to take a refreshing dip. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of roasted meat or enchiladas with beef jerky.

Finally, once we've eaten, we'll make our way back to Tampico. We're expected to arrive back at around 11 hours later.
