Abseiling in Nefeli Gorge
We will convene at 10 am at the parking lot on the Epar.Od. Kalpakiou-Papigkou road before proceeding to the Nefeli Gorge.
Nefeli Gorge is situated in the Zagorochoria region, known for its villages, monasteries, and stone bridges. Streams from the Astraka and Tsouka peaks flow through the gorge, contributing to a lush landscape year-round.
The activity commences with a 15-minute walk to admire the local vegetation and wildlife. We will encounter waterfalls and natural slides, some reaching 24 meters (82 feet) high.
Post-abseiling, we will walk for another 45 minutes through the gorge's rocky walls to exit the area. We expect to return to the starting point by around 3 pm.
