Apart from its charming historic center, Paraty is also home to breathtaking underwater wonders. We'll take you to discover its rich marine life on this beginner-level scuba diving experience on the Brazilian coast.

Beginner Scuba Dive in Paraty

On the day of the activity, we'll meet up at the scheduled time at the dock of the Marina do Engenho and board a boat to the tranquil diving spot along the coast of Paraty.

Before diving, the instructor will explain the necessary technical know-how to participate safely. We'll learn how to use the equipment, breathe underwater, and communicate through hand signals. Then, it'll be time to plunge into the Atlantic!

During this diving experience, which will last between 30 and 45 minutes, we'll swim to a depth of between 4 and 8 meters (13-26 feet) below the surface. We'll see marine plants and wildlife up close in these calm waters.

After returning to the surface, we'll relax on the boat and share a snack and drink to replenish our strength after the underwater adventure.

Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock, where we'll arrive at around 2 pm.
