Apart from its charming historic center, Paraty is also home to breathtaking underwater wonders. We'll take you to discover its rich marine life on this beginner-level scuba diving experience on the Brazilian coast.

Beginner Scuba Dive in Paraty

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the scheduled time at the dock of the Marina do Engenho and board a boat to the diving spot along the coast of Paraty.

Before the dive, the instructor will explain the technical know-how necessary for the activity. Participants will learn how to use the equipment, breathe underwater, and communicate with hand signals. Then, we will dive into the Atlantic.

The diving experience will last between 30 and 45 minutes, reaching a depth of between 4 and 8 meters (13-26 feet). We'll see marine plants and wildlife in these calm waters.

After diving, we'll relax on the boat and share a snack and drink to replenish our strength. Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock, arriving around 2 pm.
