Apart from its charming historic center, Paraty is also home to breathtaking underwater wonders. We'll take you to discover its rich marine life on this beginner-level scuba diving experience on the Brazilian coast.

Beginner Scuba Dive in Paraty

On the day of the activity, we'll meet up at the scheduled time at the dock of the Marina do Engenho, and board a boat to the diving spot along the coast of Paraty.

Before diving, the instructor will explain the necessary techniques for safe participation. We'll learn to use the equipment, breathe underwater, and communicate with hand signals. Then, we'll plunge into the Atlantic.

During this diving experience, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes, we'll swim to a depth of 4 to 8 meters (13-26 feet) to observe marine plants and wildlife closely in these calm waters.

After the dive, we'll relax on the boat and share a snack and drink to replenish our strength. Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock, arriving around 2 pm.
