In addition to its picturesque historic district, Paraty offers stunning underwater marvels. This beginner-friendly scuba diving adventure allows you to explore its vibrant marine ecosystem along the Brazilian coastline.

Beginner Scuba Diving in Paraty

On the day of the diving experience, we'll convene at the designated time at the dock of the Marina do Engenho and embark on a boat journey to a serene diving location along the Paraty coast.

Prior to our first dive, the instructor will provide essential information on how to engage in the activity safely. We will discover how to handle the equipment, breathe underwater, and utilize hand signals for communication. Once we’re equipped with the necessary skills, we’ll be ready to dive into the Atlantic Ocean!

This memorable diving excursion will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes, during which we will explore depths ranging from 4 to 8 meters (13-26 feet). Expect to encounter a variety of marine flora and fauna in the tranquil, crystal-clear waters.

After surfacing, we will enjoy a relaxing moment on the boat, where we will have a snack and a drink to recharge after our underwater exploration.

Ultimately, we will cruise back to our departure point, returning around 2 pm.
