Paraty Bay & Pombas Island Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour, we'll paddle through the waters of Paraty Bay until we reach Pombas Island.

Kayak Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Praia do Pontal, where you'll receive a brief explanation of the paddling technique and basic safety rules. Once ready, we'll paddle to the nearby Jabaquara Beach, surrounded by tropical vegetation.

There, we'll start our tour through the last mangrove forest remaining in the urban center of Paraty. As you navigate its canals, you'll observe this ecosystem with a large diversity of fauna and flora. With luck, you may see exotic birds, crabs, and possibly a family of capybaras.

Our tour continues to Pombas Island, a small natural paradise in the Paraty Bay, rich in bromelias, cactus, and lush vegetation serving as a refuge for various marine species and birds like loons.

As the afternoon sun fades, we'll return to Praia do Pontal, concluding this approximately 2-hour activity.
