Paraty Beaches & Mangroves Kayaking Tour

On this kayak tour, we'll paddle through the calm waters of Paraty Bay, passing by its beaches and mangroves. We'll also stop at Itú and Malvão islands and Praia do Rosa!

Description

When you make your reservation, you can choose between 2 options. Both include the equipment for the activity and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can see the details of each itinerary:

Beach tour (2.5 hours)

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Praia do Pontal, and from this point, we'll start our kayak tour along the coast of Paraty.

First, we'll explain the basic safety rules and the handling of the kayaks. Then, we'll head out into the waters of Paraty Bay.

Paraty Bay has more than 65 islands. During the crossing, we'll pass by some beaches of Ilha da Bexiga, Duas Irmãs, or dos Pombos. You'll have free time on one of the beaches to refresh yourself with a swim before continuing.

We'll paddle along the shores to enjoy the breathtaking views of Paraty Bay. We'll arrive back at the starting point 2.5 hours later.

Mangrove tour (3.5 hours)

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can't miss the Paraty mangrove tour by kayak. After a brief safety talk, we'll start paddling through one of the most interesting landscapes in the area.

The kayak trip will take us to the mangroves of Jabaquara, then we will visit the mangroves of Ilha do Itú and Várzea do Corumbê. On the way, we'll pass by remote beaches, islands, and some of Paraty's most important natural reserves. After 3.5 hours of exploring, we'll return to the meeting point.
