Paraty Beaches & Mangroves Kayaking Tour

On this kayak tour, participants will paddle through the calm waters of Paraty Bay, exploring its beaches and mangroves, with stops at Itú and Malvão islands and Praia do Rosa.

Description

Reservations can be made with two options, both including equipment for the activity and an English-speaking guide. Details for each itinerary are as follows:

Beach tour (2.5 hours)

Participants will meet at Praia do Pontal at the scheduled time to begin the kayak tour along the Paraty coast. A brief explanation of basic safety rules and kayak handling will precede departure into Paraty Bay's waters.

The route includes sights of over 65 islands in Paraty Bay, passing by Ilha da Bexiga, Duas Irmãs, and dos Pombos. There will be free time on one of the beaches for a refreshing swim before continuing. The tour concludes back at the starting point after 2.5 hours.

Mangrove tour (3.5 hours)

The mangrove tour offers a more adventurous experience. After a brief safety talk, participants will paddle through the Jabaquara mangroves, then proceed to Ilha do Itú and Várzea do Corumbê mangroves. The journey will include views of remote beaches, islands, and significant natural reserves in Paraty. After 3.5 hours of exploration, the tour returns to the meeting point.
