Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time in front of the Matriz Church to start this cachaça tour of Paraty. The tour combines history with tasting sessions.
You'll learn about the history behind cachaça, from the arrival of sugar cane in Brazil to its production and connections with Africa. The quality of cachaça has made it a significant product in Brazil.
We will visit 5 cachaça bars in Paraty: Armazém da Cachaça, Cachaçaria Cana Caiana, Alambique Antônio Mello, Empório da Cachaça, and Escritório da Cachaça. At these venues, we will sample various types of cachaça and liqueurs, including the popular Jorge Amado cocktail.
Additionally, we will provide recommendations for restaurants in Paraty, known for its culinary scene.
