At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Matriz Church to begin the cachaça tour of Paraty, which combines history with tasting sessions.

During the tour, you will learn about the history behind cachaça, from the arrival of sugar cane in Brazil to its production process and connections with Africa. You'll discover that it was once considered one of the country's most important products due to its high quality.

We will visit 5 cachaça bars in Paraty: Armazém da Cachaça, Cachaçaria Cana Caiana, Alambique Antônio Mello, Empório da Cachaça, and Escritório da Cachaça. At these venues, you'll taste various types of cachaça and liqueurs, including the popular Jorge Amado cocktail, known as the most loved drink in Brazilian Venice.

Additionally, Paraty is renowned for its culinary scene. We will provide recommendations for restaurants that cater to your tastes.

We will conclude the tour at the Cachaça Office after approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours together.
