We'll meet in front of the Matriz Church to kick off the cachaça tour, blending history with tasting sessions. The tour covers the history of cachaça, from the arrival of sugar cane in Brazil to its production process, including its connections with Africa. You'll learn that cachaça became one of Brazil's most significant products due to its high quality.

During the tour, we will visit 5 cachaça bars in Paraty: Armazém da Cachaça, Cachaçaria Cana Caiana, Alambique Antônio Mello, Empório da Cachaça, and Escritório da Cachaça. At these locations, different types of cachaça and liqueurs will be available for tasting, including the renowned Jorge Amado cocktail, known as the most loved drink in Brazilian Venice.

Paraty is also recognized as a world-famous location for food. Throughout the tour, we will provide recommendations for various restaurants that cater to different culinary tastes.

We will conclude the tour at the Cachaça Office after spending between one hour and 40 minutes and two hours together. Until next time!
