We will meet at the Matriz Church to start the cachaça tour of Paraty, combining history with tasting sessions.

The tour covers the history of cachaça, from the arrival of sugar cane in Brazil to the production process, including its connections with Africa. Cachaça became a significant product due to its high quality at its inception.

We will visit 5 cachaça bars in Paraty: Armazém da Cachaça, Cachaçaria Cana Caiana, Alambique Antônio Mello, Empório da Cachaça, and Escritório da Cachaça. At these venues, you will taste different types of cachaça and liqueurs, including the famous Jorge Amado cocktail, a popular drink in Brazilian Venice.

Additionally, Paraty is known for its culinary scene. Throughout the tour, we will provide recommendations for various restaurants to suit your tastes.
