As you prepare for your adventure, you can select your desired kayaking experience in Paraty. Each excursion commences from Praia do Pontal and includes all necessary equipment along with the guidance of an English-speaking instructor. Prior to your journey, you'll be briefed on paddling techniques and essential safety measures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable outing.

Here are the details of the different tours you can choose from:

Pomba Island Expedition (2 Hours)

Our journey starts with a paddle towards the tranquil Jabaquara beach, enveloped by vibrant tropical flora. Following this, we will navigate through the last urban mangrove forest situated in Paraty. As we glide through its winding channels, you will have the chance to appreciate this unique ecosystem, which is a habitat for a diverse array of flora and fauna. Keep your observations sharp! With some luck, we might encounter exotic birds, crabs, and if we are fortunate, even a family of capybaras.

Next, we’ll make our way to Pombas Island, a small yet stunning haven in Paraty Bay. The island, adorned with bromeliads, cacti, and lush greenery, serves as a sanctuary for various marine species and birds like grebes. You'll find this natural refuge truly enchanting!

As the evening approaches, we will begin our return to Praia do Pontal.

Paraty Islands Excursion (2.5 Hours)

This option takes you on a paddle around some of the 65 islands that grace Paraty Bay. While enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings, you’ll also engage in a spirited workout. Throughout the route, marvel at the striking scenery of Bexiga Island, the impressive rock formations at Duas Irmãs, and the serene bird sanctuary located on Pigeon Island.

Don’t miss the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of these vibrant and lively islands. We will pause for a refreshing swim in the area’s emerald waters before concluding our tour and heading back to the starting point. See you soon!

Mangrove Exploration (3 Hours)

If you're seeking a more adventurous kayaking journey, the Paraty mangrove tour is not to be missed. After receiving a short safety briefing, we will embark on a voyage through one of the area's most captivating landscapes.

The paddling route will take us through the mangroves of Jabaquara, followed by a visit to the mangroves of Ilha do Itú and Várzea do Corumbê. Along the way, we will pass secluded beaches, islands, and some of Paraty’s premier natural reserves. You’ll undoubtedly fall in love with this enchanting environment!

After three hours of exploration, we will make our way back to the meeting point.
