Paraty Sunset Kayak Tour

On this sunset kayak tour, participants will paddle through the tranquil waters of Paraty while experiencing the region's idyllic landscapes.

Options

During booking, you can select between two sunset kayak tours in Paraty. Both options start at your selected time at Praia do Pontal and conclude at the same location.

Pombas Island kayak tour (2 hours)

Following a short lesson on using the kayak, the tour heads to Jabaquara Beach to explore the last mangrove forest in the urban centre of Paraty. There may be opportunities to spot various birds and capybaras. Subsequently, the tour proceeds to Pombas Island, known for its grebes, bromeliads, cactuses, and diverse wildlife, providing stunning views of Paraty Bay at sunset.

Kayak tour of the Paraty Islands (2.5 hours)

After brief instructions, guests will depart from Praia do Pontal in the historic center to visit some of the 65 islands in Paraty Bay, including Ilha da Bexiga, Duas Irmãs, and Ilha das Pombas. While paddling, participants can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

During the journey, there will be opportunities to photograph the islands at sunset and to take a dip in the tranquil waters. The tour lasts 2.5 hours before returning to the starting point.
