On this hike to Praia do Sono, we'll explore one of the most beautiful coastlines in Paraty and enjoy splendid views of the Atlantic Forest from Praia dos Antigos.

Praia do Sono Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 7:30 am on Roberto Silveira Avenue in Paraty and drive to Laranjeiras, located 28 kilometers (17 miles) away.

Upon arrival, we'll start hiking toward Praia do Sono, which will take approximately an hour and a half.

During the hike, we will traverse the Atlantic Forest and pass through the Environmental Protection Area or APA of Cairuçu, inhabited by indigenous tribes like caiçaras or quilombolas. You will also have the chance to swim in one of the local streams before continuing.

Upon reaching Praia do Sono, you'll have free time to taste local caiçara cuisine in nearby restaurants and relax on the beach with its turquoise waters. If you're up for more adventure, you can hike for another 40 minutes to the deserted beach of Antigos, accessible via a steep path that offers breathtaking views.

After our day in nature, we will return to Laranjeiras, where the bus will take us back to Paraty, arriving at 2:30 pm.
