On this hike to Praia do Sono, we'll explore one of the most beautiful and well-preserved coastlines in Paraty while enjoying views of the Atlantic Forest from Praia dos Antigos.

Praia do Sono Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 7:30 am on Roberto Silveira Avenue in Paraty and drive to Laranjeiras, located 28 kilometers (17 miles) away.

Upon arrival, we will begin the hike toward Praia do Sono, which will take approximately an hour and a half.

During the hike, we will traverse the landscapes of the Atlantic Forest, including the Environmental Protection Area of Cairuçu, home to indigenous tribes such as caiçaras or quilombolas. There will be an opportunity to swim in one of the local streams before continuing.

Upon reaching Praia do Sono, you will have free time to enjoy local caiçara cuisine in nearby restaurants and relax on the beach or swim in the turquoise waters. You may also continue hiking for another 40 minutes to the deserted beach of Antigos for breathtaking views.

After a day in nature, we will hike back to Laranjeiras, where the bus will return us to the starting point in Paraty by 2:30 pm.
