Hiking Tour to Praia do Sono

Our adventure begins at 7:30 am on Roberto Silveira Avenue in Paraty, followed by a journey to Laranjeiras, situated 28 kilometers (17 miles) from Paraty.

Upon arrival, we'll commence our hike towards Praia do Sono, which will last approximately an hour and a half. Let the adventure commence!

Throughout our trek, we'll traverse the diverse landscapes of the Atlantic Forest, a distinctive ecosystem emblematic of Brazil. Additionally, the route takes us through the Environmental Protection Area (APA) of Cairuçu, home to indigenous communities such as the caiçaras and quilombolas. You’ll have the chance to refresh yourself with a swim in one of the local streams before we continue our journey.

At long last, we will reach Praia do Sono, a quaint fishing village nestled among almond trees. Here, you'll have leisure time to savor traditional caiçara dishes at one of the local eateries, followed by an opportunity to unwind on the sandy shores and enjoy the crystal-clear waters. This idyllic setting serves as a perfect escape from the demands of daily life.

If your spirit for adventure still beckons, you can opt to extend your hike for another 40 minutes to the secluded beach of Antigos. Although the path is uphill, the panoramic views awaiting you are truly rewarding.

After a fulfilling day immersed in Brazil's natural beauty, we will make our way back to Laranjeiras, where our transportation will be ready to return us to the original meeting point in Paraty, arriving around 2:30 pm.
