Tour Details

Meet outside the Anvers metro station in Paris at the scheduled time. Start the tour with a visit to the Carrousel de Montmartre for the children to enjoy a ride before ascending to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.

After the carousel, we'll head to the Saint-Pierre Carrousel, included in the tour. You may also opt to take the funicular up Montmartre hill, though this ticket is not included. Along the way, the guide will share insights into Montmartre's history. At the top, we will enter the Sacré-Coeur Basilica to learn about its Romanesque and Byzantine-inspired architecture. We will proceed to the Place du Tertre to view local artists' work.

While descending, we will observe Montmartre's vineyards and historic cabarets like Lapin Agile and Moulin de la Galette. A stop at a local park will provide a 5-minute break for parents while kids enjoy the playground. We will then visit locations associated with artists like Picasso and Van Gogh, before reaching the Abbesses district to see the "Wall of Love".

Concluding the tour at the Place des Abbesses, children can have another ride on the Carrousel des Abbesses. The tour lasts 2 hours and ends at the foot of the hill, in front of the Moulin Rouge. Au revoir!

Carrousels and Playgrounds

On rainy days, Montmartre's playgrounds may close, but merry-go-round access remains available. The Saint-Pierre carousel has no age limit, while the Au Petit Poulbot Carrousel at Place des Abbesses is limited to children aged 7 years old and under.
