With this ticket to the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, you will visit one of the outstanding anthropological collections of non-Western art in Paris and discover great civilisations of the world.

Description

Located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, the museum houses an important anthropological collection. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, includes a garden with more than 150 botanical species.

Your ticket allows access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions related to the art, culture, history, folklore, and traditions of civilisations from Africa, America, Asia, and Oceania.

The African section features archaeological pieces from countries such as Mali, Benin, and Nigeria, while the Americas section showcases artifacts from pre-Columbian civilisations like the Mayans and Aztecs. The Asian and Oceania rooms highlight cultures from India, China, Japan, and the artistic heritage of Australia, New Zealand, and island nations of Melanesia and Polynesia.

Your ticket also grants access to temporary exhibitions:

April 3 to September 24, 2024: Mexica - Des dons et des dieux au Templo Mayor. Reservation required.Until 13th October 2024: Taïnos et Kalinagos des Antilles. Reservation required.

Free admission is available for:
