With this ticket to the Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, you'll visit one of the most important collections of non-Western art in Paris and discover the great civilisations of the world.
Description
Located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, the museum features an extensive anthropological collection. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, includes a garden with over 150 botanical species.
Your ticket grants access to the permanent and temporary exhibitions related to the art, culture, history, and traditions of the civilisations of Africa, America, Asia, and Oceania.
The African rooms showcase archaeological pieces from Mali, Benin, and Nigeria, including significant items from the Congo and masks from Cameroon and Ethiopia.
The Americas section features figures and sculptures from pre-Columbian civilisations such as the Mayans and Aztecs, alongside traditional garments from native North American peoples.
The Asian rooms cover cultures from India, China, and Japan, while the Oceania area focuses on Australian, New Zealand, and other island cultures.
