Description
Located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac features an important collection. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, includes a garden with over 150 botanical species.
Your ticket grants access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions related to art, culture, history, folklore, and traditions from Africa, America, Asia, and Oceania.
The African rooms display archaeological pieces from Mali, Benin, Nigeria, notable Congolese objects, and masks from Cameroon and Ethiopia. In the Americas, you'll find pre-Columbian figures and sculptures from the Mayans and Aztecs, as well as clothing from various native peoples. The Asian rooms cover cultures from India, China, and Japan, while Oceania focuses on art from Australia, New Zealand, and other island nations.
