Description
Located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac houses a significant anthropological collection. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, includes a garden with over 150 botanical species.
Your ticket grants access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions related to the art, culture, history, folklore, and traditions of civilisations from Africa, America, Asia, and Oceania. The African rooms feature archaeological pieces from Mali, Benin, Nigeria, and notable objects from the Congo, Cameroon, and Ethiopia. In the Americas, discover pre-Columbian sculptures from the Mayans and Aztecs, along with clothing from North American indigenous peoples. The Asian rooms cover cultures from India, China, Japan, and the Oceania area focuses on Australia, New Zealand, and island nations of Melanesia and Polynesia.
