Tour of the Palace of Versailles
At your chosen time, we will depart from near the Eiffel Tower and arrive in Versailles by bus in approximately 45 minutes. We will have a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles, with skip-the-line access at the ticket office, visiting rooms including the Grand Apartments of the King and Queen. The tour will also include the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919.
Following the guided tour, which lasts approximately 1.5 hours, you will have free time to explore the gardens of Versailles. The gardens cover over 800 hectares (1,976 acres), featuring various trees, plants, statues, and ponds, with fountains operational on certain days.
We will return to the meeting point in Paris between 4 and 7 hours after the initial pickup, depending on the selected option during booking.
Tour Options
When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:
4.5-Hour Tour + Audio Guide
This option includes transportation between Paris and Versailles and an audio guide in English for a self-guided visit, which is downloadable on your tablet or phone via a QR code at the palace entrance.
4.5-Hour Guided Tour
This includes return transport from Paris and an English-speaking guide at the Palace of Versailles.
7-Hour Guided Tour
This includes transport to and from Paris, an English-speaking guide, and entrance to the Petit and Grand Trianon.
Duration of the Tour
The duration of the guided tour of the Palace of Versailles will always be 1.5 hours.Morning departures will have longer free time for the gardens.With the 7-hour tour option, you can also visit the small and large Trianon palaces.
Skip-The-Line Entrance
Booking the guided tour allows entry through the group entrance. The audio-guided tour enters through the standard entrance. In both cases, no wait at the ticket office is required, but there will be a security checkpoint line.
