Discover the world’s most famous royal palace on this half-day trip from Paris. The Palace of Versailles is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its main rooms and magnificent gardens.
Tour of the Palace of Versailles
At your chosen time, we'll depart from Paris and arrive in Versailles after about 45 minutes. Upon arrival, you'll skip the long lines and follow your guide into the Palace of Versailles, the residence of the Kings of France from 1682 until 1789. The official guide will take you through the main rooms, including the King’s Grand Apartment, the Queen’s Grand Apartment, and the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919.
After the tour of the interior, you'll have free time to explore the gardens of Versailles, which cover 800 hectares and include trees, statues, and ponds. On days when they are in operation, you will see the fountains as well.
The visit to the palace and gardens will last a total of two hours. We will return to Paris after the tour.
