Description

We'll meet at Piazza Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa to provide bicycles for a journey through Parma's cityscape and cuisine.

Parma is recognized for its Parmesan cheese and ham, alongside its historical and artistic heritage. Our bike ride will pass by palaces, churches, and theaters while experiencing Parma's gastronomy.

We will view the Palazzo Ducale, a 16th-century work by architect Jacopo Vignola, and see the Palazzo della Pilotta and Teatro Farnese, significant landmarks in Parma.

Our next stop will be at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and its baptistery, followed by a tasting of authentic prosciutto from Parma and Parmesan cheese, paired with a glass of wine. This experience highlights why Parma was named a Creative City of Gastronomy in 2015.

The tour will conclude at a local pastry shop where we will try the Duchess Cake, made with hazelnuts, custard, liqueur, and chocolate ganache.

The entire experience lasts 3 and a half hours, after which we will return to the starting point to drop off our bikes.

Included
