Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan - Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, we’ll drive to Thimphu, visiting Tashichoe Dzong Fortress if time allows.
Day 2: Thimphu
After breakfast, we’ll visit the National Memorial Chorten, Dordenma Buddha, the National Library, and a paper factory. We’ll then explore the Takin Reserve and enjoy a local lunch. The afternoon is free for exploring.
Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, we’ll head to Punakha Valley through scenic routes, stopping at Chimi Lhakhang temple and learning about Lama Drukpa Kunley. We will arrive at our hotel in Punakha for overnight.
Day 4: Punakha
We’ll visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten and take a 45-minute walk to reach it. We’ll also see Punakha Dzong and explore Wangdiphodrang market in the evening.
Day 5: Punakha - Phobijkha
We’ll travel to Phobjikha, visiting Gangtey Gonpa and hiking through the valley, which hosts rare black-necked cranes.
Day 6: Phobijkha - Paro
After breakfast, we’ll stop at Dochula Pass and visit Simtokha Dzong before arriving in Paro.
Day 7: Paro
We’ll hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktshang Monastery), taking 2 to 3 hours before enjoying the afternoon free in Paro.
Day 8: Return flight
After breakfast, we will escort you to Paro Airport for your departure.
All-Inclusive Trip
The price includes 7 nights of accommodation, meals, airport transfers, transportation, and an English-speaking guide. Entrance fees to all listed sites are included. A round-trip flight to Paro is required.
