Tour Details
Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan - Thimphu
You will be greeted at Paro Airport and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, on a one-hour scenic drive. Time permitting, we may visit Tashichoe Dzong Fortress.
Day 2: Thimphu
We'll visit the National Memorial Chorten, Dordenma Buddha, the National Library, a handmade paper factory, and the Takin Reserve. Enjoy local lunch and free time in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, depart for Punakha Valley through picturesque landscapes featuring 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and visit Chimi Lhakhang temple.
Day 4: Punakha
Visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten after breakfast, followed by a visit to Punakha Dzong and explore the local market in Wangdiphodrang.
Day 5: Punakha - Phobijkha
Travel to Phobjikha, visit Gangtey Gonpa, and hike through the Phobjikha Valley to see black-necked cranes.
Day 6: Phobijkha - Paro
On the way to Paro, visit Dochula Pass and Simtokha Dzong, before arriving at your hotel for the evening.
Day 7: Paro
Hike to Tiger’s Nest, enjoying views from 900 meters above the valley. Afterward, free time to explore Paro.
Day 8: Return flight
We will transfer you to Paro Airport for your departure.
