Canoeing down the River Sella is a popular activity in Spain. You'll sail at your own pace around one of the most beautiful Asturian Principalities.
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time at Plaza Venancio Pando de Arriondas and head for the banks of the River Sella. A 15-minute briefing from the guide will take place before we get into the canoes. During this 4-hour excursion, we will paddle downstream to explore the landscape between Arriondas and Llovio and nearby towns. A delicious picnic lunch is available for those who choose, consisting of a sandwich, a candy bar, a fruit, and a bottle of water. After the descent along the River Sella, we will return to the meeting point.
Schedule
The descent is self-guided every 15 minutes between 11 am and 6 pm.

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:
Canoeing without picnicCanoeing with normal picnic: includes sausage sandwich, apple, water, and chocolate neopolitan.Canoeing with Asturian picnic: includes chorizo bun, empanada, water, apple, and chocolate neopolitan.
Routes
You can select from one of the following routes, all departing from Arriondas:
7 km (4.3 miles): 1 to 2 hours to Nuevo Tora.12 km (7.4 miles): 2.5 to 3 hours passing Toraño to Llordón.15 km (9.3 miles): 4.5 hours from Arriondas and Toraño to Llovio, near the Sella dock.
Requirements
The minimum age to participate is 6 years, and participants must be at least 120 cm in height (3'11").
