Pasto Tour
We will meet at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Nariño to begin our tour of iconic locations in Pasto. Learn the reason behind its nickname, the 'Surprise City', during the tour.
After exploring the history of Pasto at Plaza de Nariño, we will visit its outstanding churches, totaling 25, contributing to its title as the 'Theological City of Colombia'.
We will admire the exteriors of the cathedral Corazón de Jesús, the church of San Juan, as well as the churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Next, we will visit the Carnival Museum to see samples of this local celebration and the varnishing workshops, a characteristic handicraft technique of the city.
The tour will conclude with a focus on cuisine of Pasto. Experience the making of traditional paila ice cream and participate in a tasting of Colombian coffee with an expert barista explaining the brewing process.
We will complete the tour by returning to the starting point at 6 pm.
