Pasto Exploration
The adventure begins at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Nariño, serving as our launching point for an in-depth exploration of Pasto's most famous landmarks. Ever wondered why it’s called the 'Surprise City'? You'll discover the answer firsthand!
After delving into Pasto's history at the Plaza, we'll embark on a journey through the town's remarkable churches. With over 25 churches present, Pasto has rightfully earned its title as the 'Theological City of Colombia'.
We'll take in the stunning exteriors of the Corazón de Jesús Cathedral, the Church of San Juan, as well as the Churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Our cultural immersion continues at the Carnival Museum, where we'll explore exhibits celebrating this vibrant local festival, along with participating in varnishing workshops, showcasing a traditional craft unique to Pasto.
The concluding segment of our tour focuses on Pasto's delicious culinary offerings. You'll witness the fascinating process of crafting traditional paila ice cream and enjoy a delightful tasting of Colombian coffee, led by an expert barista who will share insights into the brewing process.
We will wrap up our experience by returning to our initial meeting point at 6 pm.
