On this day trip from Bangkok, we'll visit Damnoen Saduak, Thailand's most famous floating market. We'll also see the iconic bridge on the River Kwai and go on a journey with a ride on the Death Railway.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok at the indicated time and, after a 1.5-hour journey, we'll reach the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Once there, we'll go on a boat ride through Damnoen Saduak for 30 minutes, seeing stalls selling vegetables, exotic fruit spices, and local products.

After the market, we will drive to Kanchanaburi to visit the emblematic bridge on the River Kwai, made famous by the 1957 film based on World War II events, when Japanese forced local prisoners to build the Death Railway. Part of the train's journey passed over the River Kwai.

We’ll have a traditional Thai lunch near the bridge. Following lunch, we'll visit the JEATH War Museum to learn about the Death Railway's construction between 1942 and 1943.

After the museum, we’ll head to ThamKra Sae Station for a 1.5-hour train journey along the River Kwai, ending at Tha Kilen Station, where transportation will return us to Bangkok.
