On this boat tour, we'll cruise the canals of Bangkok to explore lesser-known places in the city and visit the Wat Paknam temple with the renowned Big Buddha.

Tour Details

We will meet at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street at the scheduled time. Following a brief introduction, we will proceed to the pier to begin our boat trip through the canals of Bangkok.

Participants will board a traditional long-tail boat for a scenic ride. During the tour, we will share insights into local life and enduring traditions.

We will stop at the Artist's House (Baan Silapin), a historic residence functioning as a museum of Thai art. This 200-year-old wooden structure has been restored and offers picturesque views.

Next, we will visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, established during the Krungsri Ayudhya period along the Bangkok Yai canal. Here, we will see the magnificent Big Buddha, which stands at 60 metres (196 ft) tall, with its construction completed in 2021. We will provide details about its name and significance related to the canals.

After a total of 2 hours, the tour will conclude at the starting point.
