On this boat tour, we'll cruise the canals of Bangkok in search of the lesser-known places in the Thai capital. We'll also visit the Wat Paknam temple and the Big Buddha.
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street. After a brief introduction, we'll head to the pier to start this boat trip through the canals of Bangkok.
We'll board a traditional long-tail boat and sail through the Thai capital's waters, sharing interesting facts about local life and traditions.
We'll stop at the Artist's House (Baan Silapin), a traditional residence housing a museum of Thai art. This old wooden building, over 200 years old, has been restored by its owner.
Along the route, we'll visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, where we can admire the Big Buddha, 60 metres (196 ft) high, completed in 2021. We will discuss the temple's name and its canal-side location.
After a total of 2 hours, we'll return to the starting point, marking the end of the boat tour.
Partial Closures
Due to ongoing construction until June 2025, we can only view the Big Buddha from the outside.
