On this boat tour, we'll cruise the canals of Bangkok to discover lesser-known places in the Thai capital. The itinerary includes a visit to the Wat Paknam temple and the majestic Big Buddha.
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we will meet at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street. Following a brief introduction, we'll proceed to the pier to start the boat trip through the canals of Bangkok.
We will board a traditional long-tail boat and explore the local waterways. During the ride, we will share insights about local life and traditions.
Our first stop will be the Artist's House or Baan Silapin, a museum of Thai art located in a restored wooden residence over 200 years old.
Next, we'll visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, a temple dating back to the Krungsri Ayudhya period, where we can view the impressive Big Buddha, 60 metres (196 ft) high. The construction was completed in 2021, and we'll explain the temple's name related to its location.
After a total of 2 hours, we will return to the starting point, concluding the boat tour.
Partial Closures
Due to ongoing construction until June 2025, we can only view the Big Buddha from the outside.
