Meet Pattaya's most famous resident on this guided tour to Big Buddha Hill. This giant golden statue has dominated the city's horizon since 1977.

Big Buddha Hill Guided Tour

We'll collect you from your hotel at 9 am and set off to the highest point in Pattaya: the Big Buddha Hill, also known as Wat Phra Yai.

After a brief journey through the lush jungle vegetation, we will arrive at the summit. There, the biggest Buddha statue in Chon Buri will welcome us. This figure can be seen from any point in Pattaya and has become the symbol of the city.

Our guide will provide insights on the history of this landmark, known locally as Luang Phor Yhai, and will show you other sculptures and artworks in the grounds. You will also learn about the temple project currently being developed on the same hill.

The Big Buddha Hill offers panoramic views of Pattaya and its coastline, a unique setting where religion, art, and nature intersect.

Before returning to your hotel, we will visit the Gem Gallery, one of Thailand's largest jewelers, where you can admire a vast collection of precious stones and purchase one as a souvenir.
