Explore Samarkand, Uzbekistan’s second-largest city, on this private tour with an exclusive guide.

Tour Details

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup at the scheduled time. The first stop is the Guri Emir Mausoleum, commemorating the tomb of Tamerlane and showcasing stunning Islamic architecture. Next, visit Registan Square, where you can admire the grand madrasas—Ulughbek, Sherdor, and Tilla Kori—each featuring intricate mosaics, in a city with a history spanning over 2,700 years.

Follow this with a trip to the Shahi Zindah necropolis, a UNESCO site filled with blue-domed mausoleums and ancient mosques, ideal for photography. Then, visit the Bibi Khanum Mosque, once the largest mosque in Central Asia, showcasing 14th-century architecture and historical significance as part of the Silk Road.

Conclude the tour at the vibrant Siyab Bazaar, where you will have free time to explore stalls and find souvenirs. The total duration of the tour is approximately 8 hours, after which you will be returned to your hotel.
