We will pick you up at your hotel in Samarkand at the scheduled time before heading for Shahrisabz, one of the most historic cities in Uzbekistan. The journey, lasting one hour and a half, will take us through the Zerafshan valley and its cotton plantations, a key part of the Uzbek economy.

Upon arriving in Shahrisabz, we will explore this city, the birthplace of national leader Amir Timur. We will learn about his history in the grand square named after him and then proceed to the old town, a World Heritage Site.

We will stroll through central neighborhoods that thrived under the Timurid dynasty, with a highlight being the Kok Gumbaz Mosque, built in 1437 and a main tourist attraction. We will walk around this area and admire the adjacent mausoleum before continuing the private tour.

Nearby, the Hazrat-i Imam complex contains the tomb of Timur's firstborn son, significant in history. We will then visit the White Palace, a grand summer residence in ruins, originally designed as Timur's largest building.

After enjoying the views around the palace, we will depart Shahrisabz and return to the hotels in Samarkand, with an arrival expected six and a half hours after the tour begins.
