Private Tour Details

Pick up will occur at your hotel in Samarkand before departing for Shahrisabz, a historic city in Uzbekistan. The journey lasts one hour and thirty minutes, passing through the Zerafshan valley and its cotton plantations.

Upon arrival in Shahrisabz, the exploration begins in the square named after national leader Amir Timur. We will delve into his history and proceed to the old town, a designated World Heritage Site.

The tour includes a stroll through neighborhoods representative of the city's golden era under the Timurid dynasty, particularly highlighting the Kok Gumbaz Mosque, built in 1437 and a key tourist attraction. Adjacent to it, we will visit the mausoleum before moving on.

Nearby, the Hazrat-i Imam complex contains the tomb of Timur's firstborn son. The tour also includes a visit to the White Palace, a historic summer residence that is now in ruins and was the largest building under Timur.

After enjoying the views around the palace, the return to Samarkand is scheduled for six and a half hours after the start of the private tour.
