Cross-Country Skiing in Pyha-Luosto National Park

Meet at the Colorado Bar & Grill Pyhä at the time of your choice, where the guide will provide a brief overview of the skiing techniques. After putting on the cross-country skiing equipment, we will set off.

Using poles and wearing boots, we will enter the picturesque landscape of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You will practice your newly learned techniques while skiing through the thick snowy forests that define this arctic wilderness.

As we glide among the trees, we will take breaks to admire the towering, snowcapped trees. During the tour, you will learn about the Lappish skiing tradition and how children start learning to ski as soon as they can walk.

After the tour, we will stop at a rest area for a hot drink and to warm up by a fire. We will then return to the original meeting point, concluding the activity two and a half hours after it begins.
