Enjoy one of Finland's traditions with a cross-country skiing trip in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Experience the beauty of Lapland while sliding through the snow.

Cross-Country Skiing in Pyha-Luosto National Park

Participants will meet at the Colorado Bar & Grill Pyhä at a chosen time, where the guide provides a presentation on skiing techniques. After getting equipped with cross-country skiing gear, the adventure begins.

With poles in hand, skiers will enter the scenic landscape of Pyhä-Luosto National Park, practicing their newfound skills in the thick snowy forests of the arctic wilderness.

As they glide among the trees, there will be opportunities to admire snowcapped trees and learn about the Lappish skiing tradition, including how children start learning as soon as they can walk.

After the skiing, a break is scheduled at a rest area for a hot drink and warming by a fire. The activity concludes approximately two and a half hours after it started, returning to the original meeting point.
