Ice Climbing in Korouoma Canyon
We will pick you up at your hotel in Pyhä at the specified time before heading to the Posio Nature Reserve, home to Finland's notable ice falls.
After a two-and-a-half-hour journey, we will stop in the Korouoma valley to observe rock fractures that date back millions of years. We will walk through the snow to the base of the canyon, where the guide will provide a brief presentation and assist you in putting on your equipment.
Strapped to the harness, we will ascend the Korouoma Canyon, climbing the frozen formations as the ground gradually disappears below. Upon reaching the top, you will have views of the white landscapes of Lapland. A barbeque meal will be provided to regain your strength for the return journey.
Feeling reenergized, we will hike back to the entrance of the reserve and then drive back to Pyhä. The activity concludes 11 hours after the start.
