Ice Climbing in Korouoma Canyon
We will pick you up at your hotel in Pyhä before heading to the Posio Nature Reserve, home to Finland's ice falls. After a two-and-a-half-hour journey, we will stop in the Korouoma Valley to see ancient rock fractures. We will walk through the snow to the base of the canyon, where the guide will give a presentation and you will put on your equipment.
Strapped to the harness, we will ascend Korouoma Canyon, climbing the frozen formations while the ground gradually disappears. Upon reaching the top, you will enjoy views of the white landscapes of Lapland. Following this, a barbeque will be provided to regain your strength for the return journey.
Afterward, we will hike back to the entrance of the reserve and drive back to Pyhä. The activity concludes 11 hours later at your hotel.
