Mountaineering Course in Pyha-Luosto National Park
We will meet at 9 am at the Pyhätunturi Hotel before hiking into the Pyhä-Luosto National Park.
The guide will give a brief presentation and participants will put on all the necessary equipment. A trial will follow to ensure command of the basic techniques before we start our adventure.
Using crampons and ice ax techniques, we will begin our climb, navigating the steep terrain with the help of a rope.
As we ascend, the guide will demonstrate the safest techniques and share insights on how explorers manage extreme conditions during real expeditions. At the summit, we will enjoy views of the landscapes of Lapland.
You will have half an hour for a meal before we return to the starting point, completing the activity at 5 pm.
