Join us on a fantastic mountaineering course in the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Like a true Arctic explorer, you will climb the magnificent snowy peaks of Lapland.

Mountaineering Course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park

We'll meet up at 9 am at the Pyhätunturi Hotel, before hiking into the Pyhä-Luosto National Park, a beautiful snowy wilderness in Lapland.

The guide will begin by giving a brief presentation and we will put on all the necessary equipment. Then we do a trial, to ensure that you have command of the basic techniques, and then it's time to set off on our adventure.

Using our crampons and newly acquired ice ax techniques, we will begin to climb. We will scramble up the steep terrain using the rope to help us, just like genuine Arctic climbers!

As we make our way up the mountain, the guide will help you and show you the safest techniques to use. They will also tell you about how explorers tackle the most extreme conditions in real expeditions. At the summit, we will have exceptional views of the stunning landscapes of Lapland.

Finally, you will have half an hour of free time to have something to eat, before we head back to the original starting point where the activity finishes at 5 pm.

This mountaineering course will take you through the essential stages of climbing in snowy conditions. You will receive all necessary instruction and equipment at the beginning, ensuring that you are ready for the adventure ahead.
