Via Ferrata in La Hermida

On the via ferrata of La Hermida, we will experience a day of adventure in the Cantabrian countryside.

Via Ferrata in La Hermida

We will meet at the heavy vehicle parking of La Hermida, and then follow the guide to the via ferrata of La Hermida.

Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves and walk to the start of the via ferrata, which consists of three sections with varying difficulty. We will ascend the steel cable and begin climbing, offering stunning views of the mountains.

The climbing sections will include stairs and steep hiking routes through the Hermida gorge. The route features caves and flat areas for rest to appreciate the beauty of this ancient path in the Peña Agero.

In the final stretch, we will navigate hanging bridges, both Tibetan and wooden, and start our descent through a vertical traverse until completing the via ferrata.

The experience concludes with our return to the starting point after four hours.
