Via Ferrata Experience in La Hermida

When you're ready, we will convene at the designated parking area for larger vehicles at La Hermida. From there, you will follow your guide in your own vehicle to the starting point of the via ferrata.

Upon arrival, we will gear up and begin our trek toward the entrance of this via ferrata, which is set against the backdrop of the Cantabrian Sea. The route consists of three segments that vary in difficulty, with the ascent starting along a steel cable that leads to breathtaking views—a sight that is sure to leave you in awe!

The climbing portions will alternate with stairway climbs and steep hiking paths within the Hermida gorge. Additionally, this trail features caves and flat zones, providing perfect spots to pause and admire the intricate beauty of this ancient path in Peña Agero.

As we approach the concluding section, we will navigate hanging bridges, both Tibetan and wooden, before making our way back down. Our descent will involve a vertical traverse that leads us to the end of the via ferrata.

This thrilling adventure will culminate with our return to the starting point after approximately four hours of activity.
