Boat Excursion to the Berlengas Islands & Caves

We will convene at Peniche Marina at the predetermined time to embark on our boat excursion to the Berlengas Islands.

Our journey begins with a 30-minute sailing experience aboard a catamaran, offering the chance to appreciate the diverse marine life residing in the waters off Portugal's coast. The Berlengas Islands, designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, promise to astonish you with their remarkable aquatic flora and fauna!

Upon reaching Berlenga Grande, we will transfer to a smaller glass-bottomed boat to explore the unique natural sea caves of the islands. During this 30-minute cruise, we will visit notable sites including the São João Batista Cave, the Blue Grotto, and the impressive Furado Grande, a vast natural tunnel that extends 70 meters beneath the island, leading into a stunning bay. Afterward, you will have free time to wander the island's various trails.

After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of enjoying the Berlengas Islands, we will return to Peniche Marina to conclude our tour.
