Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet up at the Peniscola Tourist Office and board a minibus to head to Morella, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

We'll start exploring the town by visiting the gate of San Miguel and entering the historic center of Morella, notable for its stately homes, ancient buildings, and cobbled streets.

A key product of Morella is honey, so we'll visit an artisanal honey shop to learn about the production process.

Next, we'll visit the Basilica of Morella to appreciate its Valencian Gothic architecture from the 13th and 14th centuries.

The final highlight is Morella Castle. We will discuss its history while viewing it from the outside. You will then have 1 hour of free time to explore the castle or have lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Peniscola by minibus, with the scheduled return 9.5 hours after departure.
