Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Excursion

At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Peniscola Tourist Office and head to Traiguera. The journey will take around 30 minutes by minibus or coach.

The first stop is a visit to a thousand-year-old olive tree farm, where we will learn about the care of these trees, how olives are harvested, and the olive oil production process. Tasting some olive oil accompanied by local cold meats will also be included.

After 1 hour in the olive grove, we will proceed to Cervera del Maestre for a guided tour, where you will see main monuments like the Church of the Assumption, the Baroque bell tower, and the old Medieval market. A stop will be made outside the 12th-century castle, followed by a visit to the Oil Mill Visitor Centre.

Next, we will return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud. You will explore its different rooms, including the old pilgrims' hostel and the medieval hermitage, while admiring the beautiful frescoes present in the complex.

The excursion will conclude at 2 pm back at our starting point in Peniscola.
