Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Excursion

At 9:30 am, we'll meet in front of the Peniscola Tourist Office and head to Traiguera. The journey will take around 30 minutes via minibus or coach.

The first stop will be a visit to a thousand-year-old olive tree farm. Here, we'll learn about the care required for these trees, how olives are harvested, and the olive oil production process. Participants will also taste the olive oil accompanied by local cold meats.

After spending 1 hour at the olive grove, we'll proceed to Cervera del Maestre for a guided tour of the main monuments, including the Church of the Assumption, the Baroque bell tower, and the old Medieval market. There will also be a stop outside the 12th-century castle and a visit to the Oil Mill Visitor Centre.

Next, we will return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud. During this visit, we will explore different rooms, including the old pilgrims' hostel and the medieval hermitage, highlighted by beautiful frescoes.

The excursion will conclude at 2 pm back at our starting point in Peniscola.
