Did you know that Villafamés is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain? Come to this town in the province of Castellón and discover its monuments and scenery.

At 3 pm, we'll meet outside the Peñíscola Tourist Office ready to start the trip. We will travel for 50 minutes onboard a minibus to the town of Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the historic centre of the village, declared a Site of Cultural Interest. As we walk around, we'll discuss how its strategic location on a hill has marked its history.

We will see the façade of the church of La Asunción, the characteristic stone houses, and the castle dating back to the times of Muslim rule. We will share their history.

Next, we'll visit the Roca Grossa, a large stone mass full of mystery. Here, you can make three wishes, although legend says only one will be granted. We will share the legends related to this natural monument during the tour.

The last stop will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace. In its exhibition rooms, we'll see numerous works of art covering different artistic trends from the 1920s to the present.

We'll conclude the tour at 8 pm by arriving back at Peñíscola.
