Did you know that Villafamés is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain? Come to this beautiful town in the province of Castellón and discover its monuments and incredible scenery.

Villafamés Guided Tour

At 3 pm, we'll meet outside the Peñíscola Tourist Office ready to start the trip. For 50 minutes we'll travel onboard a minibus to Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the historic centre of the village, declared a Site of Cultural Interest. We will discuss how its strategic location on a hill has influenced its history.

During the tour, we'll see the façade of the church of La Asunción, the characteristic stone houses, and the castle from the times of Muslim rule.

Next, we'll visit the Roca Grossa, a large stone formation filled with legend. You will make three wishes here, with the belief that only one will be granted.

The final stop will be the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace, showcasing artistic works from the 1920s to the present.

We will conclude the tour at 8 pm by returning to Peñíscola.
