Botanical Garden of Quindío Visit
After picking you up at your accommodation at the indicated time, we'll head to the Quindío Botanical Garden, located an hour and a quarter from Pereira.
We will enter the main pathway, two kilometers long, which leads to key areas of the garden. Here, we will visit the Butterfly Farm, where you can observe 1,500 butterflies flying over a variety of flowers.
Continuing along the path, we will find numerous native birds. You can observe them closely from the three viewing points in the Botanical Garden, which complements the lush vegetation of the area and enhances the experience of the Colombian coffee region.
In the garden, we will explore the National Collection of Colombian Palms, showcasing 210 of the 255 species found in Colombia.
During our visit, we can also explore the Ethnobotanical Museum of Palms, the Insect Museum, and the Museum of Geology and Soils, as well as learning about regional culture in the Museum of the Crossing of the Andes of Quindio.
