Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a scenic 50-minute drive through the lush landscapes of the Colombian coffee area.

Our first stop is the stunning Cocora Valley, famously known for the "secret of the thousand greens." Here, we will traverse the verdant terrain adorned with countless shades of green, while uncovering the fascinating tale of the Princess Cocora.

We will visit three distinct viewpoints, providing an opportunity to marvel at the stunning scenery and learn about the iconic Wax Palm. These stops will allow us to appreciate the area's natural beauty and its unique characteristics.

Following our exploration, we'll take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing our journey to Salento. This charming Antioquian-style town is known for its vibrant streets and beautifully colored facades. We will stroll through its picturesque neighborhoods, filled with blooming flowerpots, until we reach Calle Real, the town's vibrant center.

As we meander through Salento, we'll encounter the Camino del Quindío, a historic route once connecting Cartago and Ibagué. Have you heard of the Camino del Quindío Festival? During this event, residents of nearby Filandia dress as historical characters, including patriots and Spaniards, reliving moments from the route's storied past.

For breathtaking views of Salento, we will visit the Alto de la Cruz viewpoint, a popular spot for both locals and travelers eager to gaze upon the stunning landscapes of Colombia's coffee region.

Next, we'll make a brief visit to the charming town of La Colina Iluminada, where you can soak in the scenic vistas of Quindio, before heading onwards to Filandia. Here, a comprehensive 2-hour guided tour will allow us to uncover the town's many delights.

We will wander through the lively streets of Filandia, admiring its colorful homes and local shops, leading us to the renowned Street of Stopped Time, 'la calle del Tiempo Detenido'. Our tour will include a visit to the bustling Central Park, a gathering spot for coffee farmers, and a chance to witness the artistry of basket weaving, along with a stop at the Museo de los Abuelos (Grandparents' Museum).

After a fulfilling day of exploration, we will return to Pereira, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation, completing a remarkable 9-hour journey.
