Finca Recuca Day Trip

On this day trip to the Finca Recuca, you will discover coffee production. The tour includes a walk through the plantations, participation in the harvest, and the practice of the "coffee rite".

Finca Recuca Visit

Pick-up will be at your hotel at the selected time for the visit to Finca Recuca, where we will participate in the Coffee Culture Tour.

Upon entering the farm, we will become muleteers and "chapoleras", dressing in traditional clothing for a half-hour walk along the Coffee Trail. We will learn about coffee cultivation while enjoying the landscape.

Next, we will role-play as coffee growers and engage in a coffee picking simulation. This includes a mock payment process using a note from the picker's bank.

We will also learn about the post-harvest process. With our coffee, we will visit the 'grandparents' mill' and the 'organic mill' to observe grain processing.

Participants will discover Recuca's "coffee rite", learning to prepare and drink it and finishing with a cup of authentic Recuca Exportación coffee.

The experience concludes with a return to your hotel after a 4 to 5-hour day trip.
