Aboriginal stories, the gold rush, and waves of stone! On this tour to Wave Rock and York from Perth, we'll discover two key attractions of the Australian outback.

Wave Rock & York Tour

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Crown Perth Hotel to begin this tour to Wave Rock and York. We will drive towards Hyden, passing through the hills around Perth into the agricultural area of the region.

Before visiting Wave Rock, we'll stop in York, the oldest township in the Avon Valley. Here, we will explore the town's history, which is connected to the gold rush and cattle raising, and observe its unique architecture.

The tour will continue along the Wheatbelt Way, passing through the farming villages of Corrigin and Kondinin. From our vehicle, we'll also see the Dog Cemetery.

Next, we'll have a stop for lunch at a restaurant, before heading to our next destination: Wave Rock. This sacred site for the Aborigines features remarkable stone formations.

Before returning to Perth, we will stop at Mulka Cave to view cave paintings that depict an Aboriginal legend.

We will conclude the tour back at the meeting point at approximately 8:30 pm.
