Aboriginal stories, the gold rush, and waves of stone! On this tour to Wave Rock and York from Perth, we'll discover two of the great attractions of the Australian outback.

Wave Rock & York Tour

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Crown Perth Hotel to begin this tour to Wave Rock and York. We will drive towards Hyden to see one of the most incredible geographical features of Australia, passing through the hills around Perth and into the agricultural area of this region.

Before Wave Rock, we'll stop in York, the oldest township in the Avon Valley. We will explore the streets and learn about its history related to the gold rush and cattle raising. The town features several unique buildings.

The tour continues along the Wheatbelt Way, passing through Corrigin and Kondinin, where you can discover the essence of the Australian outback. We will also see the Dog Cemetery from the vehicle.

A lunch stop will be provided at a restaurant before we head to Wave Rock. This site is a sacred place for the aborigines, renowned for its curious stone waves.

Before returning to Perth, we will stop at Mulka Cave to view cave paintings that tell an Aboriginal legend.

The excursion will conclude back at the meeting point at approximately 8:30 pm.
