Come and discover the capital and commercial heart of the Dutch island of St. Maarten on this guided tour of Philipsburg. You'll explore the colourful streets and beach with turquoise waters.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the car park of the cruise terminal in Philipsburg. Our guided tour of Sint Maarten, the Dutch part of the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, will begin here.

Our walking tour includes a visit to the Amsterdam Cheese and Liquor Store, a well-known Dutch cheese shop, where you can purchase delicious products.

Next, we will walk to the Sint Maarten Museum, showcasing many famous photos and objects that detail the island's history. St. Maarten has been administrated by France in the north and The Netherlands in the south since the 17th century.

Afterward, we will visit the Guavaberry Emporium and the St. Maarten People's National Liquor Factory, built on the grounds of a former synagogue abandoned in 1781.

We will also view the façade of the Yoda Guy Movie Exhibit Museum, featuring props and costumes from the Star Wars movies.

Finally, we will stroll along the seafront and conclude our guided visit at the Courthouse, the Philipsburg House of Justice, after approximately 2 hours.
