Description

The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University promotes science in society through exhibitions on the environment, featuring animals and plants from both today and the past.

Founded in 1812, this institution emerged during a time when Philadelphia was a major cultural and commercial center. Expeditions were organized to explore nature beyond the American frontiers, leading to the establishment of the Academy.
