Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: 5 Day Tour of Cambodia

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Kompong Cham

We will meet in Phnom Penh and drive for an hour to the port. There we will board a traditional boat to Silk Island to learn about silk production from locals. After returning, we will head to Kompong Cham for a guided city tour, lunch of local specialties, and visits to Wat Nokor Temple and Phnom Pros Monastery. We will also visit the Keung Kok fabric factory before evening at our hotel.

Day 2: Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom

We will start with breakfast at the hotel in Kompong Cham. After a three-hour drive through central Cambodia, we will explore the culture of Kompong Thom and visit food stalls, followed by lunch. We will then visit Prasar Sambor Prei Kuk Archaeological Park before returning to Kompong Thom for the night.

Day 3: Kompong Thom - Siem Reap

After breakfast, we will visit the central market in Kompong Thom before driving three hours to Siem Reap. We will stop for lunch and explore Kompong Kleang, a village on Tonlé Sap Lake, with floating houses before arriving at our hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park

After breakfast, we will visit Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire, exploring ruins amidst the jungle. Our tour includes Ta Nei, Angkor Thom, and sunset at Angkor Wat Temple before returning to Siem Reap for the night.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park - Siem Reap

The final day starts early at 4:30 am with a visit to Angkor Wat for sunrise. We will continue touring the park, including Preah Khan, Neak Pean, and Ta Som. After lunch, you will have free time to explore Angkor Wat before concluding the tour in Siem Reap.
