Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: 5 Day Tour of Cambodia

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Kompong Cham

Meet in Phnom Penh and drive for an hour to the port. Board a traditional boat to Silk Island to learn about silk production. After returning, travel to Kompong Cham for a guided city tour, local lunch, and visit Wat Nokor Temple and Phnom Pros Monastery to meet monks. End the day at Keung Kok fabric factory.

Day 2: Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom

After breakfast, drive for three hours through central Cambodia to Kompong Thom. Explore the city's culture and food stalls, followed by lunch. Visit Prasar Sambor Prei Kuk Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see ancient temples. Spend the night in Kompong Thom.

Day 3: Kompong Thom - Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel, then walk through the central market in Kompong Thom to enjoy local products. Depart for Siem Reap with a lunch stop and explore Kompong Kleang village on Tonlé Sap Lake before arriving at the hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park

After breakfast, visit Angkor, the ancient Khmer capital. Explore the archaeological park, including Ta Nei temple, and the Angkor Thom site, featuring the South Gate and temples like Bayon and Baphuon. Watch the sunset at Angkor Wat Temple before returning to Siem Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park - Siem Reap

Leave Siem Reap at 4:30 am to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Continue exploring the park, including Preah Khan, Neak Pean, and Ta Som, and have lunch near the temple. Enjoy free time at Angkor Wat before concluding the tour in Siem Reap.
