Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: 5 Day Tour of Cambodia

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Kompong Cham

After meeting in Phnom Penh, we will drive for one hour to the port, where we will board a traditional boat to Silk Island to learn about silk production. We will then drive to Kompong Cham for a guided city tour, lunch, and visits to Wat Nokor Temple, Phnom Pros Monastery, and Phnom Srey. Our evening will conclude with a visit to the Keung Kok fabric factory.

Day 2: Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom

After breakfast, we will depart for a three-hour drive to Kompong Thom, exploring the city and local food stalls before lunch. We will visit Prasar Sambor Prei Kuk Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to Kompong Thom for the night.

Day 3: Kompong Thom - Siem Reap

We will begin with a walk through the central market in Kompong Thom before departing for Siem Reap. Lunch will be followed by a visit to Kompong Kleang on Tonlé Sap Lake. We will arrive in Siem Reap by evening.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park

We will explore the Angkor archaeological park after breakfast, visiting ruins from the Khmer Empire and Ta Nei temple. Lunch will be included, followed by visits to Angkor Thom, its South Gate, and temples such as Bayon and Angkor Wat. We will end the day with a sunset view of Angkor Wat.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park - Siem Reap

The final day begins at 4:30 am with a sunrise at Angkor Wat. After exploring Preah Khan temple and enjoying breakfast, we will visit temples like Neak Pean and Ta Som. After lunch, the afternoon is free for further exploration of Angkor Wat.
