Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: 5 Day Tour of Cambodia

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Kompong Cham

Meet in Phnom Penh for an hour's drive to the port. Board a traditional boat to Silk Island to learn about silk production. After returning to land, travel to Kompong Cham for a guided city tour and lunch of local specialties. Visit Wat Nokor Temple and Phnom Pros Monastery to meet local monks, followed by the Keung Kok fabric factory.

Day 2: Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom

After breakfast, drive three hours to Kompong Thom, exploring local culture and food stalls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Prasar Sambor Prei Kuk Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to Kompong Thom for the night.

Day 3: Kompong Thom - Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel, then visit the central market in Kompong Thom. Depart for Siem Reap with a lunch stop and explore Kompong Kleang village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Arrive at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park

After breakfast, visit Angkor, exploring the archaeological park and its ruins. Visit Ta Nei, followed by lunch. Explore Angkor Thom, including the South Gate and Terrace of the Elephants. End the day with a sunset view over Angkor Wat Temple.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Archaeological Park - Siem Reap

Start early at 4:30 am to witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Tour continues to Preah Khan temple and other temples. Lunch near the temple, then free time to explore Angkor Wat. Return to Siem Reap to conclude the tour.
