RoRo Street Art Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet on the north side of the Phoenix Center for the Arts. Here, we'll begin our graffiti tour of Roosevelt Row, known as RoRo.

During the tour, we will see over 30 murals as we stroll through the streets of Phoenix's artsy neighborhood, discovering some of the city's prominent street art.

While admiring the murals, we will discuss history, politics, and symbolism to decipher the artists' intentions, highlighting current issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement, immigration, and global warming.

A graffiti tour of RoRo includes a visit to Carly's Bistro, a restaurant instrumental in supporting top street artists, as the owner provided space for them to paint. This visit is a highlight of the tour.

Finally, after a 2-hour tour, we will conclude as we return to the meeting point.
