Temples, throne halls and the Emerald Buddha: immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of Bangkok's Grand Palace on this guided English-language tour.
Bangkok Grand Palace Guided Tour Itinerary
The Grand Palace is Bangkok's most important monument, built in the late 18th century as a royal residence. The palace complex hosts ceremonies and state functions and features meticulously designed buildings, temples, gardens, and courtyards.
On the tour day, you'll be picked up from your hotel in central Bangkok and taken to the Grand Palace. Discover the myths and legends surrounding the complex, featuring delicately carved scenes on the gold-lacquered multi-tiered roofs of the Phra Thinang or "Throne Halls."
The palace complex includes several temples, with the most significant being Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This temple houses the sacred 26-inch-tall (66 cm) jade Buddha figurine, clothed in gold, revered by the Thai people. You will also visit the Coronation Throne Hall, the Royal Reception Hall, the Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi, and the Royal Pantheon during the tour.
At the end, you'll be dropped back off at your hotel in Bangkok.

Please note there is a strict dress code for entering the Grand Palace:
