Are you a nature enthusiast? We invite you to try this unique camping experience - hanging tents suspended over the Pica Oasis, a lush enclave located in the heart of the Chilean Atacama Desert.
Camping in Hanging Tents
Your camping adventure starts with check-in at 3 pm. You can enjoy the camping facilities until checkout at 12 pm the next day. The landscapes of the Pica oasis are captivating, situated in the Atacama Desert.
The unique aspect of this experience is sleeping suspended between trees. You'll be surrounded by botanical species over 200 years old. Tents are hung due to the ancient irrigation system running through the camp, which supports the lush vegetation fed by watercourses from water tanks called cochas.
Facilities include spacious tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, tables, chairs, and a grill for cooking your own food.
At night, you will be able to see the stars from your tent. The following day, after breakfast, you can take a dip in the natural pools.
