Quero & Traditional Hacienda: 3 Day-Tour

Day 1

At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel, leading to Ambato for a short tour of the town, including a chance to try the Cathedral's famous ice creams. Then, we proceed to Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo for check-in and free time. A typical regional lunch will follow, with a tour of the hacienda to learn about farm life and product harvesting. In Quero, we will visit Quero Central Park and the Diocesan Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Monte, then travel to Puñachizac for a visit to the artisan brewery La Quereñita known for potato beer. The day ends with dinner by the campfire.

Day 2

The following morning starts with breakfast before heading to the pine forest for an exhilarating hiking route, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as eagles, wolves, and wild cattle. The hike concludes back at the hacienda, where a traditional local lunch is served. Experiential activities will follow, focusing on daily local life and work in the páramo. Dinner concludes the day.

Day 3

On the final day at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo, breakfast is provided, followed by free time for luggage collection. Departure to your hotel is scheduled for approximately 11 am.
