Discover the gastronomy of the Istrian peninsula with this Istria Food Tour. Visit Hum, Motovun, and Grožnjan while you taste their most typical products and admire the beauty of these villages.
Istria Food Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Portorož at 9 am and start this tour in search of the delicious flavours of the Istrian peninsula.
The first destination will be Hum, known as the smallest city in the world. We will explore this town located in the heart of Istria and search for biska, a typical brandy made with spices, unique to Hum.
Next, we will travel to Motovun, a medieval town with beautiful monuments, including the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church. We will walk its cobbled streets and discover the famous white truffle.
At a local restaurant, we will learn how to prepare a dish with typical products, featuring truffle and wine.
Finally, we will visit Grožnjan, a village noted for its wine and olive industry and a large number of art galleries.
We'll return to Portorož at about 5 pm.
