Istria Food Tour
The journey begins as we gather at your accommodation in Portorož at 9 am, embarking on an adventure to uncover the flavors of the Istrian peninsula.
Our first stop is Hum, recognized as the smallest city globally. Nestled in the heart of Istria, we will stroll through its quaint streets, searching for biska, a traditional brandy infused with local spices, exclusive to Hum.
Continuing our exploration, we will arrive at Motovun. This renowned medieval township boasts beautiful monuments, including the stunning bell tower of St. Stephen's Church. As we meander through the cobbled paths, we'll unveil one of Motovun’s culinary treasures—the renowned white truffle.
To savor its exquisite taste, we will visit a local eatery where we will learn how to create a dish featuring this unique ingredient, complemented by delightful wine pairings.
Our final destination is Grožnjan, an enchanting village celebrated for its wine and olive oil production. Additionally, Grožnjan is home to an array of art galleries that will captivate your imagination.
We anticipate returning to Portorož around 5 pm.
