Discover the gastronomy of the Istrian peninsula with this Istria Food Tour. Visit Hum, Motovun, and Grožnjan while you taste their most typical products and admire the beauty of these villages.
Istria Food Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Portorož at 9 am and start this tour in search of the delicious flavours of the Istrian peninsula.
The first destination is Hum, the smallest city in the world. We'll explore its streets in search of biska, a typical brandy made with spices, unique to Hum.
Next, we will travel to Motovun, a medieval town with notable monuments like the bell tower of St. Stephen's Church. Here we will learn about one of its secrets, the white truffle.
To experience its flavour, we will visit a local restaurant where we will learn to prepare a dish using typical products, including truffle and wine.
Finally, we'll visit Grožnjan, known for its wine and olive industry, along with numerous art galleries.
We'll return to Portorož at about 5 pm.
