Lipica & Skocjan Caves Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Portorož at 9 am, we will drive to Lipica, located about 40 minutes away. This town is the birthplace of the famous Lipizzaner white horses.

Upon arrival in Lipica, we will enter one of the most important stud farms in the country to learn about these horses, a notable symbol of Slovenia. We will explore their care, feeding, and habitat.

During the tour of the Lipica stud farm, you will have time to interact with the Lipizzaner horses, visit the Lipikum Museum, and, if desired, attend a horse show.

After the farm tour, we will proceed to the Skocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dubbed "the Underground Grand Canyon". Inside this cave system, we will observe unique karst formations that have formed along the Reka River.

At the end of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Portorož at 2 pm.
