Excursion to Lipica & Skocjan Caves

Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your Portorož hotel at 9 am, followed by a scenic drive to Lipica, situated roughly 40 minutes away. This town is famously known as the origin of the Lipizzaner white horses. Get ready to encounter these elegant creatures!

Upon reaching Lipica, we will visit one of the nation's premier stud farms, where you will gain insight into the life of these splendid horses, which have become a significant symbol of Slovenia. You'll learn about their daily care, feeding routines, and see firsthand the habitat where they thrive.

As part of the Lipica stud farm exploration, there will be opportunities to interact with the Lipizzaner horses, explore the Lipikum Museum, and if you choose, enjoy an equestrian show too.

Following our farm visit, we will travel to the Skocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as "the Underground Grand Canyon". Within this remarkable cave system, you will be amazed by the unique karst formations shaped by the Reka River.

After this enriching adventure, we will return you to your hotel in Portorož by 2 pm.
