Parenzana Trail Bike Tour

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Portorož and drive by minibus to Koper, where we will start the bike tour along the Parenzana Trail, also known as the Route of Peace and Friendship.

The Parenzana Trail is a scenic cycling route that connects Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, designed to promote trade among these regions.

We will make a stop in Izola, where we will take a guided tour to see notable landmarks including the port and St Maurus Parish Church.

After the tour, we will continue biking along the Parenzana Trail, passing a salt evaporation pond to learn about its significance to the Slovenian economy. The ride will include traversing one of the route's many tunnels.

At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a lunch and wine at a local restaurant before biking back to the starting point.

We expect to return to Portorož at approximately 2 pm.
