Parenzana Trail Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Portorož and drive by minibus to Koper, where we'll start this bike tour along the Parenzana Trail, known as the Route of Peace and Friendship.

The Parenzana Trail connects Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy, showcasing the landscapes of the Istrian peninsula. You'll learn about its history, which was created to promote trade among these nations.

We'll stop in Izola, a coastal town, for a guided tour to see significant monuments, including the port and St Maurus Parish Church.

Afterward, we'll continue cycling along the Parenzana Trail, passing a salt evaporation pond to understand its economic importance to Slovenia. Riding through one of the route’s tunnels will be another highlight.

At the end of the tour, we'll enjoy a lunch and wine at a local restaurant before cycling back to the starting point.

Arrival back in Portorož will be at approximately 2 pm.
