Travel from Piran to the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle, two of Slovenia's natural wonders. On this tour, you'll discover what secrets lie behind the Slovenian rocks, are you ready?
Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Day Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Piran at 9 am and travel by minibus to Postojna. After an hour's drive, we will arrive at the Postojna Cave to explore its stunning rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.
We will continue our exploration of the cave on a train that offers access to areas not reachable by foot, featuring Murano glass chandeliers, a ballroom, and olms, known as the 'dragon's offspring'.
Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress located on a cliff, steeped in legends, including that of Erasmus of Predjama, a figure likened to a Slovenian Robin Hood.
After the tour, we will return to Piran, dropping you off at your hotel around 2 pm.
