Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Day Trip
Pick-up at your hotel in Portoroz is at 9 am for a trip to Socerb, 30 kilometres east. After half an hour, you'll arrive at this traditional Slovenian village. The tour begins with a visit to Socerb Castle, an imposing fortress offering views of the Gulf of Trieste and a dive into local history. Next, explore the Holy Cave, the only underground sanctuary in Slovenia.
The journey then continues to Hrastovlje, where the Church of the Holy Trinity awaits. This 13th-century temple is surrounded by a large wall and houses the famous Dance Macabre fresco.
The last stop is Marezige, known for its wine and olive oil traditions. Visit a farm for a tasting of olive oil accompanied by local snacks.
The tour concludes back in Portorož at approximately 5 pm.
