Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Portoroz at 9 am and travel to Socerb, 30 kilometres to the east. After half an hour, we'll reach this traditional Slovenian village. The tour will start at the castle, located in the highest part of the town, offering views of the Gulf of Trieste and insights into the history of the area. Next, we will explore the Holy Cave, Slovenia's only underground sanctuary.

After Socerb, we will visit Hrastovlje to see the Church of the Holy Trinity, a 13th century temple famous for the Dance Macabre fresco within its protective walls.

Our final destination is Marezige, where we will learn about Slovenia's wine and olive growing traditions. We will visit a farm to taste olive oil paired with local snacks.

We'll conclude the tour back in Portorož at approximately 5 pm.
